The No. 6 Duke Blue Devils (19-4, 9-3 ACC) travel to Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, S.C., Thursday to take on the Clemson Tigers (12-11, 4-8). Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Duke vs. Clemson odds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.
Duke had a five-game win streak snapped when they lost a 69-68 heartbreaker at home to the Virginia Cavaliers Tuesday as an 11-point favorite. The Blue Devils have recorded half of their losses at home.
Duke has the 17th-ranked offense with 80.2 points per game. Led by freshman phenom F Paulo Banchero, the Blue Devils are 13-8-2 ATS this season.
The Tigers are 13-9-1 ATS despite barely being over .500 on the season. They’ve lost three of their last four outings but did lose to Duke by 2 points in late January. The Tigers are led by 6-foot-10 F PJ Hall, who is averaging 15.3 points per game.

Duke at Clemson odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Duke 78, Clemson 66
Money line
PASS on the money line.
Duke is the superior team in terms of talent, but betting -290 for a team on the road is never wise. Similarly, the Tigers likely won’t have the weapons to pull off the upset, making their +225 line unplayable.
Against the spread
BET on DUKE -6.5 (-110).
Duke has oddly been better at covering on the road this season. The Blue Devils are 4-2 ATS on the road, covering in their last three games away from home. Duke is also a perfect 3-0 ATS following a win this season.
Clemson is just 5-6-1 ATS in conference teams, whereas Duke is 7-5 ATS.
The Blue Devils are 17th in field goal percentage and the Tigers 142nd in opponents’ field goal percentage and I’ll take the side that’s been hotter in this situation and shown more throughout the season.
Over/Under
Slight “LEAN” to the OVER 141.5 (-115).
The Over has been the preferred side in Clemson games. The Tigers are 13-10 O/U overall and 8-3 O/U at home. Clemson averages 72.8 points per game.
While this battle was a 71-69 showdown in the first meeting and the Under 145.5 hit, I’d prefer the higher end with the total dropping by 4 points in the rematch.
