Former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is heading into his third season in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, which is expected to be a make-or-break season for him.
The Dolphins recently parted ways with the franchise’s head coach of three years, Brian Flores, and hired former San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator, Mike McDaniel.
McDaniel has never been a head coach before, but has been rising through the ranks since 2005. His innovative offensive schemes lead many to believe he holds the keys to unlocking Tagovailoa’s potential in the NFL.
On the flight to Miami, McDaniel Facetimed Tagovailoa. McDaniel said that as his coach, he plans on getting “all of the greatness” out of him.
“My job is to coach you, to get all of that greatness out of you”
