Southern Cal bounced back Saturday from a Jan. 27 loss with a home win over Cal. The Trojans struggled, however, in winning a game that had them favored by 12.5 points. Much of the second half was played with USC in front by 1-3 points. The Trojans were just 4-of-17 from distance after shooting 44.4% from beyond the arc across their three previous games.
Despite playing at an above-average tempo, the Sun Devils are the lowest-scoring team in the Pac-12 (62.7 points per game). Arizona State has averaged just 60.6 PPG in losing six of its last seven games. That stretch includes losing at USC (78-56) two games back.
