Charisma Taylor breaks two Tennessee school records at the Bob Pollock Meet.

Charisma Taylor had a record-setting weekend at the Bob Pollack Meet at Clemson.

Taylor, a graduate transfer from Washington State, set two Tennessee indoor track and field records in the meet, breaking the Lady Vols’ 60-meter hurdles mark and besting the school’s women’s triple jump.

Taylor, a native of Nassau, Bahamas, broke the school mark in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing the final heat with a time of 8.01 seconds.

Her time ranks tied for 10th in the world, tied for fifth in the nation and tied for third in the Southeastern Conference.

Tennessee’s previous record was 8.04 set by Celriece Law in 2009.

Saturday at Clemson, Taylor broke the school’s triple jump record twice (13.80 meters and 13.90 meters).

Her mark is the sixth-best in the world this season and third in the NCAA.

Taylor broke the previous record of 13.54, recorded by La’Chyna Roe in 2019.
