What a week to open up the 2022 calendar year.
Cameron Smith went toe-to-toe with World No. 1 Jon Rahm, traded blows, and came out on top. It was an unbelievable performance and maybe one that catapults Smith toward a few more wins this season.
Justin Thomas set the course record on Saturday after dismantling the Plantation Course with a 61 — then Rahm did it, too, just 90 minutes later.
The USGA announced incredible changes coming for the U.S. Women’s Open, including a purse increase from $5.5 million to $10 million. Overdue and wonderful news for the LPGA.
This week is the Sony Open, or otherwise known as the Charles Howell III invitational. The boys preview the event including a course overview, key stats, Data Golf information, and players to watch for the week.
