My my, how the tables have turned in 2022.
Normally, when Drake bets on teams or picks teams to win big games it does not go well. The history of the Drake sports curse is well documented. It was so good, in fact, that he used it against the 76ers back in 2019 to get the Raptors to the NBA Finals.
Only two teams have survived the curse to my knowledge. They are those same Toronto Raptors and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Back in 2018 during that year’s Alabama vs. Georgia National Championship game, Drake made a bet with Atlanta native Quavo on the Crimson Tide and we were almost certain it meant doom for Nick Saban and the gang.
We were wrong. Bama won. So Drake also won. He told Quavo he needed his “chips with the Huncho Jack dip.”

Fast forward to 2022, though, and it’s a different story. The two teams met again with, obviously, a different outcome. Now, the metaphorical chips and dip have changed hands. Drake owes Quavo money.
And Drake, apparently, ain’t picking up the phone.

Naaaah you absolutely hate to see it. Don’t be a poor sport, Drake. Run that man his money.
This is absolutely hilarious.
