Jaylen Waddle recognized as Miami Dolphins team MVP

Jaylen Waddle’s explosive rookie season earns him the 2021 team MVP honor from the Miami Dolphins

It has been a rough season offensively for the Miami Dolphins but one of the very few bright spots has been rookie first-round pick from Alabama, Jaylen Waddle.

Earlier today the Dolphins released their 2021 team awards and Waddle was announced as the team MVP.

Waddle became the fifth rookie in franchise history to be awarded team MVP, joining Dolphin legends Bob Griese, David Woodley, Dan Marino, and Zach Thomas.

Waddle has 99 catches for 988 yards on the season and six total touchdowns.

The Dolphins selected Waddle with the sixth overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft.
