Michigan State football fans received a late Christmas present to start the new year. The Spartans star wide receiver Jayden Reed took to Twitter to announce his intentions of returning to Michigan State for his senior year, using the last year of eligibility he holds.

Reed had a breakout season for the Spartans this year, catching 59 passes for 1,026 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is Michigan State’s first wide receiver to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark since Aaron Burbridge did it in the 2015 season.
Michigan State fans will be pumped to have Reed back in 2022.
