Nick Saban has countless stars for NFL teams. Whether it be a quarterback at No. 5 overall or a defensive lineman at No. 3 overall, former Crimson Tide stars are usually off the board quickly on draft night.
Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal may move into uncharted territory during the Saban era, as he is now projected by some to be the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Jacksonville Jaguars currently hold the pick if the season ended today. Turmoil occurred in the 2021 season regarding head coach, now former head coach, Urban Meyer.
In the 2021 draft, Jacksonville selected Trevor Lawrence first overall. His rookie season has been abysmal, and part of it is due to poor performance from those up front who are supposed to be protecting him.
Two recent NFL mock drafts project Neal to be the Jaguars pick at No. 1 overall.
