Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring — except for the folks at Epic who wish to give you free stuff.
Yes, the Epic Games Store is giving away yet another freebie today. This time, it’s Pathfinder: Kingmaker – Enhanced Plus Edition, an old-school isometric RPG. Think Dungeons & Dragons, only with its own distinct set of rules from the classic pen and paper RPG — definitely a massive tonal shift from dapper vampires running around London. Epic seems to be doing its best to add a little variety to these giveaways.

It looks like a solid little RPG. Right now, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is sitting at 73 on Metacritic, which is damn good, especially for a title that’s a bit of an acquired taste. Perhaps not best western RPGs of all time material, but hey, it’s free.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker – Enhanced Plus Edition is free on the Epic Games Store from now until Dec. 25 at 8 A.M. PDT / 9 A.M. MDT / 11 A.M EDT so grab it before it’s gone.
