The Buffalo Bills are one of the toughest opponents the New England Patriots have faced in weeks. When they first played, the wild weather — a snow storm with 70 mile per hour winds — inhibited the Bills to do what they do best: throw the football.
It should be a massively different matchup, with the offenses having more free reign to do what they want, even if there’s a little precipitation. That seems like a good thing for Buffalo. For New England, it’s unclear. They got to lean into their rushing attack in the foul weather. On Sunday, they may need to ask quarterback Mac Jones to do more. He has been solid this season — but has struggled to keep pace in quarterback duels.
Here’s why we have cause for concern this week.
