Lions vs. Cardinals final injury report: D’Andre Swift and Julian Okwara OUT for Detroit

D’Andre Swift and Julian Okwara are out, with 6 more LIons questionable with injuries for Sunday’s game with the Cardinals

The Detroit Lions will face the NFC West-leading Arizona Cardinals without their top two running backs. For the third week in a row, Lions RB D’Andre Swift has been ruled out on the team’s final injury report for Week 15.

Swift suffered a shoulder injury in the Week 12 tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers and has not played since. The Lions other primary RB, Jamaal Williams, remains on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list, one of nine players who is expected to miss the Cardinals game with COVID-19.

The only other Lions player ruled out for injury is OLB Julian Okwara, who has missed time with an ankle injury. Six Lions are officially designated as questionable for Sunday’s game at Ford Field:

  • LB Alex Anzalone
  • LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin
  • DE Michael Brockers
  • LG Jonah Jackson
  • OT Matt Nelson
  • WR Josh Reynolds

The injury list does not include TE T.J. Hockenson, who was placed on IR this week after undergoing thumb surgery. Lions head coach Dan Campbell confirmed the move in his Friday press conference.
