Everything we know following Oregon’s 62-59 win at Portland

It’s not often where a non-conference game at the beginning of December can be considered a must-win, but the Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team needed this win.

And despite late turnovers and a would-be game-tying three at the buzzer, the Ducks managed to escape the Chiles Center with a 62-59 win over the Portland Pilots.

Once again playing without Nyara Sabally and Te-Hina Paopao, scoring buckets was a problem. But thankfully for Oregon, Sydney Parrish and Sedona Prince took it upon themselves to carry the offense. Parrish scored a career-high 26 points, including five triples, and Prince tied her career-best with 22 points.

Oregon is now 4-3 for the season.
