Days after losing four-star running back Jamarion Miller to Alabama, Texas is now targeting Ollie Gordon.
The four-star running back is currently committed to Oklahoma State, and he has held strong on that pledge since Feb. 2. However, Gordon tweeted on Tuesday that after a good conversation with Texas assistant coach Jeff Banks, he received an offer from the Longhorns.
The do-it-all player for Trinity High School (Euless, TX) had an impressive senior campaign. He finished the season with 2,478 rushing yards for 35 touchdowns and added on seven receptions for 205 yards and two touchdowns through the air.
According to 247Sports, Texas is the first school to officially extend an offer to Gordon since he announced his commitment to Oklahoma State roughly nine months ago.
