According to multiple reports, reserve Alabama offensive lineman Pierce Quick intends to enter the transfer portal sometime before the SEC Championship Game. Chris Hummer of 247Sports first reported the news on Sunday.
It really isn’t much of a surprise that Quick has decided to test the waters, as he has not seen any game action since the 2021 opener against Miami.
The 6’5″, 306 pound Quick hails from Trussville, Alabama, and was one of the most coveted offensive line prospects in the class of 2019. 247Sports had Quick rated as No. 40 overall player and No. 7 offensive tackle in his class.
Quick’s younger brother Riley is set to play baseball for the Tide and head coach Brad Bohannon.
Roll Tide Wire will continue to monitor Pierce’s situation and will provide an update as soon as possible!
