No. 1 Georgia just got maybe its best offensive weapon back.
Junior star receiver George Pickens entered the Bulldogs first drive versus Georgia tech, which marks the first time he’s seen the field all season after suffering an ACL tear in the spring.
Yes that is George Pickens on the field for an offensive play. He’s back. pic.twitter.com/VcBXbPqd9m

Pickens led the Dawgs in receiving in both 2019 and 2020. He’ll be instrumental in UGA’s postseason if the Florida native is healthy enough to contribute.
Even having Pickens as a decoy may draw an extra defender his way and open up things more for the Georgia offense that is averaging 40.7 points per game.
It’s great to see a kid who has put in so much work to return get some playing time in the last game of the regular season.
You can catch Pickens and the Bulldogs live on ABC.
