Jared Goff was questionable for Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bears with an injured oblique muscle. Goff started at quarterback and showed that the side and the arm are just fine, thank you very much.
Goff led the Lions down the field on their first offensive possession for an impressive scoring drive. He capped it off by finding old friend Josh Reynolds over the top of the Bears defense for the longest air-yardage TD throw of the season for the Lions.
The 39-yard strike between the former Rams teammates put the Lions in front, 7-0. Goff completed all five of his passes on the drive, netting 64 yards. That’s nearly the entire Lions total from Week 11.
