The New York Giants are back to being a bad football team again, falling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.
With another loss now in tow, the Giants are back to looking at the top of the 2022 NFL draft as opposed to looking at a possible playoff berth or the NFC East crown.
With the loss to the Buccaneers in Week 11, the Giants moved up in the draft order and are currently projected to select No. 5 overall come April.
With the Chicago Bears losing to the Baltimore Ravens, the Giants, who have their pick from the Justin Fields trade, are also projected to select No. 7 overall, according to Tankathon.
The Giants have three teams ahead of them who are 2-8 — the New York Jets, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars. And of course, the Detroit Lions, who are 0-9-1.
