The Lakers, theoretically, should beat the Pistons by more than the spread. But the Lakers have been underwhelming against lower-level opponents, like the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets. The Pistons are the worst in the league in points scored, field goal percentage and 3-point percentage. Los Angeles should win this, but it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Detroit keeps it close.
