After negotiating a release from the Cleveland Browns and clearing waivers, Odell Beckham Jr. became a free agent for the first time in his career. He was finally free to pick the team of choice, but the choosing part of the equation proved difficult on Thursday.
Beckham Jr. went into the day with the Packers and Chiefs reportedly among his top destinations. But an afternoon report from Adam Schefter threw the entire situation into a tailspin.
According to Schefter, Beckham wasn’t going to sign with Green Bay or Kansas City. Instead, he was opting to head to Los Angeles and play for the Rams.

But in a matter of minutes, reporters who had spoken to Beckham said that wasn’t the case (yet). Both USA TODAY Sports’ Josina Anderson and NFL Network’s Kim Jones said that Beckham was “on the fence” between Los Angeles and Green Bay.
Odell Beckham Jr just told me he's still, "on the fence" with his decision, as of this minute.
