The Heat are playing their third game in four nights and are on the back end of a back-to-back. They have lost the first two games of the road trip, falling 113-96 Monday to the Denver Nuggets and 120-117 Wednesday to the Los Angeles Lakers. They have lost three of their last four games following a five-game win streak.
The Clippers have won their last five games and are on the third game of a six-game homestand. They had three players score more than 20 points in their 117-109 win over the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday.

Money line
The Heat have dropped the first two games of their road trip and the Clippers are red hot with five wins in a row.
The Clippers are 4-2 at home, while the Heats are 3-3 on the road. and if Butler can’t play, the Heat will be at a huge disadvantage.
Take the CLIPPERS (-180).
Against the spread
The Heat have failed to cover the spread in three of their last four games. They are 7-4 ATS this season.
The Clippers are 6-4 ATS but have covered the spread in four straight games.
Miami is 3-3 ATS on the road while the Clippers are 3-3 ATS at home.
With things pretty even and a small spread, as I expect the Clippers to win outright, I’ll also take them to cover.
Take CLIPPERS -4.5 (-107).
Over/Under
The total for tonight seems low. The Heat’s games have hit the Over in five of the last six contests. Three of the last four for the Clippers have gone Over the projected total.
I like this game as a close, fairly high-scoring game.
Take OVER 211.5 (-110).
