Tennessee will play in the Southeastern Conference Tournament championship match.
The two-time defending SEC East champions will play top-seeded Arkansas Sunday at 2 p.m. EST at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The game will be televised by SEC Network.
The Lady Vols, the tournament’s No. 2 seed, earned a birth in the title match with a 3-2 victory over Ole Miss Thursday.
Tennessee (17-2-0) defeated the Rebels on the strength an an own goal in the 86th minute.
Jaida Thomas scored two goals for the Lady Vols and gave UT a 1-0 lead with an unassisted marker in the 18th minute.
Ole Miss (12-5-3) pulled even when Channing Foster scored 18 seconds into the second half.
Thomas gave the Lady Vols a 2-1 lead with a goal in the 70th minute. The Rebels responded when Saydie Holland tallied approximately seven minutes later.
Tennessee goalkeeper Lindsey Romig had three saves in the match.
The Lady Vols lost to Arkansas in Fayetteville, 3-1, in the conference opener for both schools on Sept. 17.
