The Philadelphia 76ers will return home on Thursday against the Detroit Pistons to begin a 4-game homestand and they will get some reinforcements in this one.
After missing the first four games of the season due to a right ankle sprain, Shake Milton will make his season debut on Thursday against the Pistons. The Sixers have been in need of another ball-handler with Tyrese Maxey still going through his development in the transition so Milton will be a big help for them.
Also, Joel Embiid will continue to push through his right knee soreness and play in the game as well. There does not appear to be a good reason for the big fella to push through, but it does show that he wants to be out there for his guys.

The Sixers are looking to bounce back from the loss to the New York Knicks on Tuesday so it will be helpful to have Milton out there to help the team get back on track. Embiid should feel motivated to have a bounce-back of his own, individually as well.
The Sixers and the Pistons will tip off at 7 p.m. EDT from the Wells Fargo Center.
