Coastal Carolina (-900) will cost you nine times your potential return. That’s just not a good long-term betting strategy. Eventually, a big upset is just around the corner, even after several betting wins of this variety. There is just no value.

Against the spread
COASTAL CAROLINA -17.5 (-115) is worth a look as it tries to bounce back after its narrow loss at App State.
Coastal has rolled up 45.7 points per game (PPG) to rank third in the nation, while posting 523.0 total yards per outing. QB Grayson McCall will enter this game angry after getting handled by the Mountaineers.
Troy has a tremendous defense, but it has really struggled to put points on the board. Troy’s offense will be sluggish against a Coastal Carolina defense, which has yielded just 17.1 PPG, ranking 13th overall in the country. The Trojans are 1-5 ATS in the past six, including four consecutive non-covers. Roll with the Chants.
Over/Under
UNDER 51.5 (-110) is the play as both Coastal and Troy have lockdown defenses. I expect Coastal’s offense to still put up its fair share of points, while Troy will struggle. The Trojans have had a difficult time finding the end zone. Remember, this is a team which has hit the Under in five of the past six.
