Former Warrior Mychal Mulder signs two-way contract with Orlando Magic

After being waived by the Warriors before the start of the season, Mychal Mulder has agreed to a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic.

After waiving Mychal Mulder before the start of the 2021-22 season, the former Golden State Warriors guard has found a new home in Orlando. On Tuesday, Mulder agreed to a two-way contract with the Orlando Magic.

Last season in Golden State, the former Kentucky Wildcat guard played in 60 games, averaging 5.6 points on 44.9% shooting from the field with a rebound and 0.4 assists in 12.8 minutes per game.

Mulder is a proven shooter from long distance, shooting 38% from deep on four attempts per contest in his career. Mulder drilled five or more 3-pointers in five different contests during his career in Golden State.

Against the New Orleans Pelicans last season, the 27-year-old recorded a career-high 28 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field with seven 3-pointers.

Following 67 games alongside Steph Curry and Draymond Green, Mulder will join Cole Anthony, Mo Bamba, Wendell Carter Jr. and 2021 No. 5 overall pick Jalen Suggs with the Magic.

Mulder will return to the Bay Area to face his former team for the first time on Dec. 6 at Chase Center.
