As they have down countless times over the past few decades, Wisconsin football got a Big Ten win behind their ground game. The Badgers ran the football, then ran the football, then ran the football some more in a 30-13 win over Purdue that pulled Wisconsin (4-3) to above .500 for the first time all season.
The Badgers’ one-two punch of Chez Mellusi and Braelon Allen combined to run for 249 yards on just 39 carries as the two totaled three touchdowns on the ground. Both Mellusi and Allen eclipsed 140 rushing yards on the afternoon.
