Charles Barkley never holds back, and this time, while talking about Kyrie Irving and the population getting the COVID-19 vaccine, he totally nailed it.
Not that we need Chuck to convince us that a safe vaccination is beneficial to decreasing the spread of a deadly virus and the effects of the illness if you do get COVID-19.
But listen to what he has to say.
“You don’t get the vaccine for yourself,” the Hall of Famer said on Inside the NBA. “You get it for other people.”
“You get vaccinated for your family, first,” he added. “You get vaccinated for your teammates second.”
That last part was a reference to Kyrie Irving, refusing to get vaccinated and the Nets keeping him away from the team due to New York regulations preventing him from playing home games.
"First of all, you don't get the vaccine for yourself. You get it for other people."
