Report: Titans’ Caleb Farley, Cam Batson out for season with torn ACLs

The Titans have reportedly lost Caleb Farley and Cameron Batson for the season.

The Tennessee Titans suffered a slew of injuries during the Week 6 win over the Buffalo Bills on “Monday Night Football,” including two that are reportedly season-ending.

According to Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, Titans cornerback Caleb Farley and wide receiver Cameron Batson both suffered torn ACLs that will end their respective 2021 campaigns.

Farley sustained his injury during the second quarter and was eventually carted off the sideline while looking visibly upset. Batson’s injury was of the non-contact variety and came near the end of the first half during a return.

The Titans’ 2021 first-round pick, Farley’s injury came on a night when he was making his first career start after fellow cornerback Kristian Fulton was placed on Injured Reserve earlier in the day.

This is Farley’s second torn ACL, as he also suffered one in college. At this time it isn’t clear if it’s to the same knee.

Whatever the case may be, this is an unfortunate end to both players’ seasons and the Titans are left with even more questions at both positions.
