The Buffalo Bills’ prime-time meeting against Tennessee Titans came down to the wire.
On a quarterback sneak with only seconds left, Bills quarterback Josh Allen was stuffed by the Tennessee defensive line.
He was previously 13-for-14 on 4th-and-1 attempts in his career, but the Titans had other ideas and stopped him.
Such a massive play clearly caught a lot of attention nationally.
Here’s how some of those reactions were to Buffalo’s decision to go for the win late vs. the Titans:
Matthew Berry, ESPN
Wow. Guessing a lot of fantasy games were decided by BUF D/ST not getting TD. Or BUF not kicking a FG there. Insanity.
Let me see em. Who had a #MondayNightMiracle with Derrick Henry and more?

Doug Farrar, Touchdown Wire
The decision for Josh Allen to sneak it was good. The decision to have Jeffery Simmons on the defensive line was gooder.

And then it’s 50/50 on the coin flip when your Defense can’t stop the Titans. What are people even talking about? You can hate the play call but going for it there makes a ton of sense https://t.co/FpPBQnRGBf

Wow. What an odd ending. Josh Allen sneak stoned by Simmons. Hell of a game. #Titans top #Bills 34-31 in a game w seven lead changes. #Denver7 pic.twitter.com/iwxNw1KGUl

Absolutely incredible stop by Jeffrey Simmons. What a beast. Phenomenal pad level and strength to bully his way past the blocker and to stop Allen.

That’s pretty dang dumb!

This Titans defense gets crushed ALL the time —and should at times—but tonight the effort on full display.
