Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills is having a great game against the New England Patriots.
The third-round rookie from Stanford threw his third touchdown of the game, a flea flicker to receiver Chris Conley.
On Friday, Conley told reporters that plays against the Patriots would have to be finely executed as they are great on defense.
“They’re very sound on defense,” Conley said. “They have a lot of technicalities and ways that they can affect your offense, and really try to make you play left-handed. It really comes down to playing a game where you take what they give you, and you don’t make mistakes, don’t make big mistakes. Protect the football, and that gives you a fighting chance.”
The Texans led 22-9 after the Ka’imi Fairbairn extra point.
