Texas erupts for 2 quick TDs against Oklahoma in Red River Rivalry

An incredible start for Texas in the Red River Rivalry against Oklahoma

The Texas Longhorns have blasted out of the starting gate in their annual battle with Oklahoma.

The Red River Rivalry saw the Longhorns scored on the first play from scrimmage. Casey Thompson found Xavier Worthy with a short pass and it turned into a long gain.

Worthy went 75 yards to paydirt.

The next disaster for OU was an attempted punt, which was blocked. Texas had all sorts of chances to corral it and take the ball in for a touchdown.

However, the special-teams players were obviously not the hands’ team. Mattered not as Texas scored on a 2-yard run by Bijan Robinson to go up 14-0.
