At the moment, both teams are 5-0 and rank inside the top-25, with UGA sitting at No. 2 and Kentucky at 14. Georgia is fresh off a win over then-ranked No. 8 Arkansas. Kentucky just beat then-ranked No. 10 Florida.
Both teams face a tough test this coming weekend, though. Georgia travels to Auburn and Kentucky hosts LSU. Hopefully, for excitement purposes, both teams enter their Week 7 matchups at 6-0.
Georgia and Kentucky have faced each other 74 times and the series has not been close. Georgia leads 60-12-2 and is currently on an 11 game winning streak over the Wildcats.
In recent years Kentucky has given Georgia’s offense a tough time, though. Georgia has averaged just 23 points per game in its last three matchups against Mark Stoops’ team.
