It’s been a rough start for New York Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson in his first NFL season, but Sunday’s performance in Week 4 from the No. 2 overall pick is giving fans flashes of brilliance and a promising future.
In a tie game in the fourth quarter Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, Wilson rolled out to his right, and told Corey Davis to head downfield. The former BYU star then launched a throw that traveled around 60 yards in the air, landing right in Davis’ lap for a touchdown.
The Jets are on the brink of their first win of the season, and their top draft pick is making the big plays they knew he was capable of when they selected him.
