Michigan State improves to 5-0 with a win over upset-minded Western Kentucky

Michigan State fended off a Western Kentucky upset attempt, taking control of the game early and never letting up, winning 48-31.

The second half saw MSU fend off several Western Kentucky comeback attempts, while managing the game. The Spartans would eventually come away with a 48-31 victory.

Payton Thorne lead the way through the air, completing 20-of-30 passes for 327 yards and a touchdown. Kenneth Walker was the leading rusher, leading the Spartans with 126 yards, and Jalen Nailor led the way receiving with 8 catches for 128 yards.
