Georgia dominates No. 8 ranked Arkansas

Georgia looked like the best team in the country on Saturday when the No. 2 ranked Bulldogs ran all over, dominated and shutout the No. 8 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks. 

Arkansas’ first two offensive plays of the day resulted in a false start penalty. And, well, it did not get any better from there.

Georgia looked like the best team in the country on Saturday when the No. 2 ranked Bulldogs ran all over, dominated and shutout the No. 8 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks.

Georgia beat Arkansas 37-0.

It was the second consecutive shutout for this Georgia defense, which held Vanderbilt to zero points in a win last weekend.

Like I said, Georgia was dominant. Again.

In five games this season, Georgia opponents have scored only 23 points.

Georgia has outscored opponents 205-23.

This game was never close. From the start, Georgia was rolling. The Bulldogs outscored Arkansas 21-0 in the first quarter and it all stemmed from a dominant defensive performance.

Georgia starting quarterback JT Daniels was sidelined with a lat injury. The offensive gameplan surely changed with that. Stetson Bennett got the start and he only threw the ball 11 ties, completing seven of them for 72 yards.

The first drive of the game saw Georgia roll down the field and score. When Arkansas got it, it had back to back false starts before it could even run a play. And then a short play. Then a sack. Then a punt.

That was the day for the Raozrbacks.
