If you were taking a look at the Week 3 NFL matchups, you probably saw the Cardinals-Jaguars game and thought it would be an easy, uneventful win for Arizona.
But you’d be wrong because Gus Johnson was on the call for Fox. And nothing uneventful ever happens when Gus Johnson is watching. It’s the rule.
The Cardinals tried to go into the half with a three-point lead by lining up Matt Prater to attempt a record-breaking, the 68-yard field goal. It was a needlessly risky call by Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury who didn’t think that the Jaguars would be able to pull off, oh, a 109-yard missed field goal return for a touchdown.
Jamal Agnew had different ideas, and it nearly broke Gus Johnson.
