Georgia’s October 2 game against Arkansas now has an official kickoff time and TV network, the SEC announced.
The game between the Bulldogs and Razorbacks will kickoff at 12pm ET and will air on ESPN. It will be played in Athens, Georgia.
This came as a rather unexpected time slot for the game, as it very well could end up being a ranked matchup between two SEC programs.
At the moment, Georgia is ranked No. 2 overall with Arkansas at No. 18 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll.
Georgia will likely still hold its No. 2 spot, with an easy game against an inferior Vanderbilt program this weekend. Arkansas plays Texas A&M this Saturday. If the Razorbacks win, this will be a top-15 matchup.
Georgia and Arkansas have met 15 times, with UGA leading the series 11-4. The two teams met last year in September, a game Georgia won 37-10.
