By now, you’ll likely know the final score. If not, you missed a blowout. The Buffalo Bills topped the Miami Dolphins, 35-0, in Week 2.
Even though the Bills didn’t have their best day, a route still might be underselling it. The Dolphins weren’t really in the game at all.
Now following it, we have some perspective on how badly Buffalo beat Miami. That shutout over their AFC East rivals had a couple of firsts for the Bills in a long, long time.
Overall, that 35-0 score line, in general, is the largest shutout win Buffalo has had… since before quarterback Josh Allen and plenty of other players were even born. Since 1992:

That game specifically was not against the Dolphins. Rather, it was versus the Indiaianpolis Colts and was a 38-0 final.
In terms of the Dolphins, specifically, it was the Bills’ largest shutout over Miami since 1966. That game was a 29-0 score.
In both of those games in 1992 and 1966, respectively, the Bills made the playoffs.
Some good vibes for the Bills carry for the rest of the season.
