‘Texans 1 – 0 and Browns 0 – 1’: Kevin Stefanski makes sure players aware

With signs “all over the building,” the Browns head coach won’t let the players forget who is undefeated and who is winless going into Week 2:

The Cleveland Browns are huge favorites going into their Week 2 matchup with the Houston Texans. The offseason was mostly a mess in Houston while Cleveland built on a great 2020 season with a great 2021 offseason.

Unfortunately for the Browns, their exciting 2021 season started off against the two-time defending AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs. Week 1 didn’t go Cleveland’s way even though they controlled the game for the majority of the time. Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce were just too much for the Browns especially with Ronnie Harrison and Jedrick Wills not finishing the game.

The Texans had a much easier matchup and got the win against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. Behind former Brown Tyrod Taylor, Houston was able to dominate the game from the start.

Despite the Browns being the big favorites, head coach Kevin Stefanski won’t let them forget which team is winless and which team is undefeated:

Stefanski won’t let the players get overconfident based on preseason expectations instead, the Texans are the better team because they have the better record. If the Browns beat them, the players can think differently but, until then, they will see reminders all over the building.
