The Bulldogs beat visiting Louisiana Tech 35-34 in Week 1. They trailed 34-14 with 13:11 remaining and the Mike Leach “Air Raid” offense looked to be in trouble. MSU turned it over four times and committed 12 penalties for 95 yards. However, the Bulldogs scored 21 points in the final 12:01 to complete the largest comeback in school history.
