The Indianapolis Colts claimed cornerbacks Chris Wilcox and Thakarius Keyes off of the waiver wire following Tuesday’s roster cutdown day, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Keyes, 23, was a seventh-round pick with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2020 NFL draft. He played in eight games with the Chiefs during his rookie season but was waived on Tuesday at the roster deadline.
Wilcox, 23, was a seventh-round pick with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 NFL draft. He spent the offseason with the Buccaneers after spending his collegiate years at BYU.
The Colts will have to make corresponding moves to make room for the pair of cornerbacks on the roster.
None of the players the Colts waived on Tuesday were claimed by other teams.
