Indianapolis Colts offensive tackle Sam Tevi suffered a torn ACL during the preseason finale against the Detroit Lions and is out for the season, first reported by Mike Wells of ESPN.
Tevi suffered his injury late during the preseason finale and had to be carted off the field. It was reported that Tevi has a torn ACL, which will likely land him on the injured reserve list and keep him out for the rest of the season.
Injuries keep happening for Colts, as offensive lineman Sam Tevi is out with a torn ACL, according to source. TY Hilton, Sam Ehlinger and Tevi out with injuries

Tevi got the first crack at competing for the starting left tackle role while Eric Fisher rehabs from a torn Achilles. However, Tevi lost that role halfway through training camp and wound playing more as the backup right tackle for the majority of the preseason.
With Tevi out of the picture, the Colts are likely to lean on Julién Davenport and Will Holden to be the left tackles while Fisher recovers from Achilles rehab and a positive COVID-19 test.
This may also give the Colts a chance to see what rookie seventh-round pick Will Fries has as a depth piece.
The Colts are also dealing with injuries to rookie quarterback Sam Ehlinger, who is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a sprained ACL, along with wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, who is out indefinitely with a reported upper back/neck injury.
