The Atlanta Falcons were hoping for a better performance against the Miami Dolphins in preseason game No. 2, but things couldn’t have gone much worse. Quarterback AJ McCarron hurt his knee in what appeared to be a potentially serious injury.
Then on offense, we saw the same problems up front. There were struggles all over the offensive line, particularly at the left guard position, as the team couldn’t protect Feleipe Franks. Defensively, it was a far less encouraging performance than last weekend’s pass-rush resurgence against Tennessee.
After the game, Falcons head coach Arthur Smith addressed the media. Watch his full postgame presser below, as shared by the team’s Twitter account.
