One former teammate of Buffalo Bills quarterback Mitchell Trubisky in Chicago doesn’t want Bears fans to be tough on him on Saturday.
Bears running back Tarik Cohen took to his social media account on Twitter this week and made sure to note Trubisky. Cohen said Chicago has no reason to boo their former QB:
If you boo Mitch tomorrow you a lame and a weirdo

Cohen, 26, has played his entire NFL career with the Bears. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft.
That was the same year that the Bears selected Trubisky with the No. 2 overall pick. As it typically goes, players from the same draft class always remain tight and it’s clear Cohen still has Trubisky’s back.
But it does remain to be seen how Chicago reacts to Trubisky. He’ll be starting for the Bills under center as Buffalo will not play Josh Allen in this one.
Even more so, the Bears will also have Justin Fields in the lineup. Fields is their current first-round rookie who is essentially Trubisky’s long-term replacement.
While Cohen’s comments will certainly be appreciated by Trubisky and perhaps even Buffalo, it seems much more likely that Trubisky will get a much different welcome at Solider Field despite Cohen’s wishes.
