This particular Wednesday is a busy one for the Texas football program.
Numerous coaches spoke with the media prior to the team holding their first open practice to the public at 6:45 p.m. CST. Admission is free for all fans and it will provide the first opportunity to catch a glimpse of the 2021 squad.
Outside of the highly publicized quarterback battle, many fans are anxious to see how Texas’ defense will improve under new defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski.
Kwiatkowski had a calm and refreshing demeanor when speaking to the media for the first time. He touched on a variety of topics, including why he chose to take the job in Austin, which players are improving and/or sticking out to him most, and the challenges that Big 12 offenses will present.
Take a look at everything he had to say on the next page.
