The Philadelphia 76ers wrapped up the 2021 summer league version of their offseason on Tuesday when they took on the Utah Jazz out in Las Vegas. The summer session offered up an opportunity for their younger players to continue to develop their games and they took advantage.
Tuesday’s matchup featured only one of their second-year players in the form of Paul Reed and one of their rookies in Jaden Springer as they continued to take strides forward and they were able to knock off the Jazz 103-98. They finish up the summer league with a 3-2 record.
Springer had a strong offensive night with 21 points on 8-for-14 shooting and he knocked down five out of six free throws. He looked aggressive all day long and he did a good job of taking advantage of his open opportunities in order to score efficiently.
