NFL Network began the countdown on Sunday night of this year’s NFL Top 100 list, and a few Seattle Seahawks players have already made the cut.
Here’s a look at where they rank.
FS Quandre Diggs: No. 77
The Seahawks somehow got Diggs for just a fifth-round pick in a trade with Detroit during the 2019 season. Diggs has quickly established himself as an anchor on the back end of the secondary and one of the top free safeties in football, filling a hole at that spot since the exit of Earl Thomas. Diggs posted five interceptions last year.
WR Tyler Lockett: No. 76
Perhaps the most underrated receiver in football when it comes to average fans, it’s great to see Lockett get the recognition he deserves from his peers. Lockett has caught 28 touchdowns over the last three seasons.
LB K.J. Wright: No. 67
Technically Wright is a free agent right now – he recently visited the Raiders – but he still deserves mentioning. It’s unthinkable that it took this long for Wright to make an appearance on this list. It’s also strange he’s still on the market at this point in the year.
Seattle will almost certainly have a few more players make the list. Quarterback Russell Wilson, wide receiver D.K. Metcalf and midde linebacker Bobby Wagner all have strong cases to be included.
Nos. 40-1 have still yet to be revealed.
