The Shnowman is back for the Buffalo Bills.

On Thursday, the Bills are off practice ahead of their 2021 preseason opener against the Detroit Lions on Friday. However, the team still announced that offensive lineman Dion Dawkins was activated from the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Dawkins, 27, showed up to the first day of training camp this summer and immediately was placed on the designation by the Bills after testing positive for the virus. Fellow offensive lineman Ike Boettger was as well.

Boettger went on to return to practices last week. Prior to doing so, Boettger was spotted on the sideline at training camp watching his teammates practice.

In recent days, Dawkins had been doing the same, so his return at some point this week was expected.

While Dawkins is back, it seems unlikely that he would suit up and play against the Lions. But upon returning to Orchard Park for practice, Dawkins certainly will be out there.

Without Dawkins in the lineup, rookie third-round pick Spencer Brown has been filling in at left tackle.
