The Tennessee Titans saw some key players return to the practice field on Friday in what was their eighth session of training camp — but wide receiver Julio Jones was not one of them.
Jones suffered what was deemed a minor injury on Tuesday, which has led to his missing every practice since. Head coach Mike Vrabel revealed that Jones was indeed fine, but that the team was limiting his practice reps during camp anyway. Expect to see sporadic participation from Jones from here on out.
Wide receiver Josh Reynolds and outside linebacker Harold Landry returned to the field. Reynolds had not practiced since Thursday of last week, while Landry hadn’t practiced since he left early on Tuesday.
In addition to those two players returning, outside linebacker Bud Dupree is making his 2021 practice debut after being activated off the PUP list on Friday morning. He’ll be worked in slowly as the Titans ramp him up.
#Titans resume practice today in full gear. Bud Dupree is on the field withouta brace on his knee. Josh Reynolds is back as well. Harold Landry is back as well. No Julio Jones as they start team stretch.
