New England Patriots rookie defensive tackle Christian Barmore was present and participated in Day 7 of training camp on Wednesday.
Barmore, a standout second-round pick, exited Tuesday’s practice with an apparent foot injury. The Alabama product saw his first reps with the starting group on Monday and he’s been making noise throughout training camp. The Patriots struggled mightily against the rush in 2020 and Barmore will play a huge role in correcting that.
The Patriots also returned defensive tackle Henry Anderson to practice on Wednesday following a chest/shoulder injury he suffered on Monday. Anderson is another new and crucial piece that will help shore up the Patriots’ defensive line.
Rookie DT Christian Barmore, who didn’t finish Tuesday’s practice after having his foot/toe checked out, is present at the start of practice this morning. Barmore made a strong first impression in 1-on-1 rush drills yesterday, the first day in full pads.

DL Henry Anderson, who missed Tuesday’s full-pads practice after having been checked by the athletic training staff late in Monday’s session, is back at practice this morning. Anderson had been shaken up after getting caught up in on-field traffic on a run play.
